Today's episode is with Joanne, a humble woman from Canada with a big heart and great stories. In the late 1980s, she and her family moved to Singapore, where she volunteered to teach Vietnamese refugees in a local camp before they were transported to a permanent new home. Joanne connected with one student in particular, Tuan, who was moved to Winnipeg. This letter was written to Joanne after Tuan arrived in his new home and describes his travel, situation, and gratitude.
